Specification for Procurement
Fittings. Match the fill inlet coupling to your tanker truck fleet — camlock, BSP, or your agency's standard. If your fleet runs multiple coupling types, confirm the standard before ordering. For fire suppression applications, specify fire-fitting compatible connections. Include an overflow fitting on tanks where fill level won't be continuously monitored.

Storage conditions. Tanks store dry, away from direct UV exposure, and not under sustained compression load. Flat pallet storage on warehouse racking is ideal. Avoid stacking heavy items on rolled tanks for extended periods.
Annual inspection. Check pre-positioned tanks annually: UV degradation at any exposed surface areas, seam condition, fitting integrity, and that repair kit contents are present and within shelf life.
Kit packing. Pack each tank with its associated fittings, connection hardware, and repair kit as a single deployable package. The goal is to pick one pallet from a shelf and have everything needed to deploy, without searching for components in a separate store.
